Servant Leadership - Level: Mentor
The Servant Leadership Academy Mentor Certificate is designed for leaders and managers as the next step in the Servant Leadership Academy certification framework. The Mentor Certificate program enhances learners’ Servant Leadership skills, competencies, and knowledge, building from the foundation set in the Practitioner Certificate, and focusing in the following areas:
Servant Leadership Mentorship – a person-centered, relationship-based approach to guide others through wisdom, experience, and knowledge transfer.
Servant Leadership Coaching – support others through active listening focused on individual growth, learning, problem-solving, and achievement.
In addition, this Mentor Certificate program will provide the tools to enhance your credibility as a “Servant Leader Influencer” and organizational steward encouraging a more cooperative environment focused on the wellbeing of the people, the organization, and the broader community.
The Mentor Certificate program provides a summary and review of the foundational Servant Leadership philosophy and values and the Servant Leadership Academy Framework, including the Purpose, Principles, and Practices of Servant Leadership. The Mentor Certificate program also leverages the extensive self-discovery and enhanced self-awareness tools from the Practitioner Certificate to help apply concepts based on your authentic leadership style.

SERVANT LEADERSHIP - Mentor CERTIFICATION PROGAM
Introduction and Foundations Refresh (3 Lessons)
Refresher on the 3 Circles of Influence used within the Servant Leadership Academy. A review of the Servant Leadership Academy Manifesto.
Influence (6 Lessons)
Using our influence and conceptualization to engage and expand other’s perspectives on the impacts and opportunities of servant leadership. Using purpose to create alignment and value all as a strategy to influence others. Shifting overall approaches to influence decision making at higher levels of organizations using persuasion and conceptualization.
Coaching Individuals (7 Lessons)
Embedding listening, empathy and healing into leadership practices to create psychologically safe spaces for teams. Explore the differences between the mindset and philosophy behind servant leader mentorship and Servant Leadership coaching. Core concepts and philosophy of coaching others through a servant lens. Key practices and tools in coaching others through a Servant Leadership approach.
Mentoring Teams (7 Lessons)
Practices, tools and techniques to facilitate teams through indirect influence, persuasion and conceptualization. Identifying core values, beliefs and practices within teams that promote the following of Servant Leadership. Tools tips and tactics to train and teach team members within a servant-led team. Dealing with difficult conversations and resolving conflict within teams through a servant approach.
Mentoring Organizations (7 Lessons)
Exploring the development of an organizational mindset of servant leadership. Creating Policy and Process that supports a people centred approach. A deeper exploration of the connection between the philosophy of Servant Leadership and the Agile methodology at an organizational level.
